What a joy to knit. Short, colorful, quick, and much-appreciated: basically the perfect knit.
They would have been even more enjoyable if the yarn had not been 100% acrylic (yes, that's 100%!), but hey, you have to clean out the stash some time. Besides, she'll outgrow these socks by the end of this winter.
Don't they look great with her new shoes?
Now the Pea is ready to go camping. And I'm ready to get back on the job and finish that
vest I was whinging about last week.
Love the socks!
ReplyDeleteLove the socks, but I've got to ask, where did you get those lovely shoes?
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I do feel a little crazy knitting baby sweaters for my son in Malabrigo Rios. It's not inexpensive, but I just hate acrylic tooooo much!
ReplyDelete@florapie: They're made by Livie & Luca: http://www.livieandluca.com/ We got them at a shop in town.
ReplyDelete@Megan: This is a first for me... I think I'll be back to Malabrigo and its ilk quite soon!
How adorable and fun!
ReplyDeleteI love Malabrigo, too. Their colors and feel are hard to beat.
